Bring yourself and a few ideas if you have them, but don’t worry if you don’t: we’ll have plenty of prompts and exercises to get you going. All you really need is a curiosity for stories.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIf you are Black, a person of colour, queer, disabled, neurodivergent, working class, or have lived experience of mental health challenges, you may have noticed how rarely your stories are reflected on high street shelves. This workshop is about changing that—by writing the stories we want, need, and deserve to read.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter the session, \u003cstrong\u003emeet local writing organisations including \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/writingourlegacy.org.uk\/\"\u003eWriting Our Legacy\u003c\/a\u003e, \u003ca href=\"http:\/\/www.creativefuture.org.uk\/\"\u003eCreative Future\u003c\/a\u003e, and \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/newwritingsouth.com\/\"\u003eNew Writing South\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003e.
